Social Minister Risma: Social Assistance In South Sulawesi Which Has Not Been Distributed 578 KPM
SULSEL - Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini said that in the South Sulawesi region, the social assistance data that had not been distributed was quite large, namely 578 Beneficiary Groups (KPM), including 18,225 additions to the second stage of KPM.
"For Maros Regency alone, there are 578 KPM in stage 1 that have not been distributed, while in the second stage there are still 18,225 additions to KPM," said the Minister of Social Affairs on the sidelines of data matching at the Pangurangi Social Rehabilitation Workshop, Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi, as reported by Antara, Thursday, October 7.
He said that based on the data in the field, the social assistance that had not yet been distributed would be resolved as soon as possible.
Problems found in the field, including KPM cards that have not been distributed and (assistance) has not been distributed.
"This amount is quite large, as in Gowa Regency there are 2400 KPM who have not received social assistance," he said. In this regard, his party requested that the distribution be done in cash or all at once.
"This is a large number compared to other regions. It's a shame if it doesn't materialize, even though people need it," he said.
In addition, said Risma, there were various other cases that were found, including remote KPM locations, and elderly KPMs, so that the realization of distribution was low.
“For example, in Luwu the distribution is very low. I said it was impossible to just take a card, it was old and there were no facilities. We ask the bank to provide assistance in cash,” he said.
The Minister of Social Affairs also asked banks to pay the full cash assistance, which should have been disbursed in July and September.
