GUNUNG KIDUL - The coverage of the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination in Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region, reached 73.2 percent of the total 595 thousand residents who were targeted for vaccination.
The second dose of COVID-19 vaccination, according to the Head of the Gunung Kidul Health Service, Dewi Irawaty, has only been carried out on 39.8 percent of all vaccination targets. Dewi said that the district government is continuously working to increase vaccination coverage.
"Currently, we still carry out a lot of vaccinations during working hours, but once opened until the evening. Indeed, we carry out vaccinations more during working hours, but there are also like yesterday at the swimming pool for two weeks open until the evening," said Dewi in Gunung South, reported by Antara, Thursday, October 7.
Gunung Kidul Regent Sunaryanta said the district government was intensifying vaccination services to accelerate the achievement of the coverage target.
"We continue to pursue the achievement of the first dose of vaccination. For the second dose, we will adjust it according to the distance rules," he said. .
"But we're following the central policy, because it's the one that regulates it from there," he said.
