Ronaldo, The First Player To Score 50 Goals In The Top 3 European Leagues

JAKARTA - At 35 years and 166 days of age, Cristiano Ronaldo has become the oldest player to score more than 30 goals in one of Europe's top five leagues since 1948. Furthermore, the Portugal captain became the first player to reach 50 goals in Europe's top three leagues .

With his skill and speed when he helped Juventus win 2-1 over Lazio, he broke another record in an attempt to catch goals from Ciro Immobile and Robert Lewandowski.

Ronaldo stared at the top scorer trophy in Serie A and Europe at the same time. In Seria A, he has scored the same tally as Immobile, 30. While in Europe, he is four goals adrift of Lewandowski.

Previously there was the name Ronnie Rooke who set this record. He did so in 1948 when he broke the record of 30 goals as an Arsenal player at the age of 36 years and 146 days.

Not only that, Ronaldo also became the first player to score more than 50 goals in Europe's top three competitions. At Manchester United, he scored 84 goals and with Real Madrid he scored 312 goals. Now in Italy, he has scored 51 goals.

No player has ever scored less than the Portugal captain's 50 goals. Ronaldo did it in just 61 games.

When it comes to 50 goals in Europe's top three leagues, this achievement will probably take years to happen again. For any player.

Even Lionel Messi cannot break this record because he of course has to compete in the other two top European leagues before deciding to retire.
