This Is An Easy Way To Edit An Apple Memoji That Fits Your Character

JAKARTA – Apple's Memoji is a cute 3D version of the standard emoji that adorns every mobile keyboard and works on all Apple devices with screens, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. Having a look reminiscent of Pixar movies, these expressive stickers can be customized to look like the user, but there's also a wide variety of animals and fantasy characters Apple created to choose from.

Apple's Memoji customization has evolved over time, based on the popular emoji icon but expanded to become larger and have a more three-dimensional appearance. Memoji stickers smile, laugh, shrug, blow their minds, and feature more iconic facial expressions with hearts, stars, clouds, and other graphics that add to the visual message.

All of which make it possible to provide non-verbal communication for almost any situation. Apple includes more than 25 preset characters, from cute foxes to tiny poops, ghosts, and dragons, among others. However, the real fun begins when you create a custom Memoji.

Apple Memoji can be easily created with an iPhone, iPad, or Mac computer using the Messages app. Apple Watch can do the same with the dedicated Memoji app. All have the same options for customizing skin, hair, eyes and other facial features in fine detail with various styles to choose from for each attribute.

Colors can be realistic or fantastic, like neon pink skin and purple hair. Once Messages or the Apple Watch Memoji app opens, all you have to do is click the plus sign on the far left (top for Apple Watch) then scroll through the options and make adjustments to create a new Memoji. There will be live updates displayed on the screen for instant feedback on how the Memoji looks.

To edit an existing custom character, select the character, then use the '...' symbol to enter edit mode. Outfits, hats, glasses, and masks have been added over time, so it's worth a second look even if they were made before.

Memoji can be used in Apple's Messages app, and in third-party apps as stickers, although they're a bit hidden. After opening the emoji keyboard, scrolling to the far left will show your most used Memoji.

Selecting the '...' symbol opens a full list of expressions and allows selecting a different Memoji. Selecting an expression will paste it in the message. Memoji can be used this way on Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, and Mac computers.

Animated Memoji, known as Animoji, work in FaceTime, Messages, and Clips apps. This feature is limited to devices that have Apple's depth-sensing technology, so Animoji requires an iPhone or iPad capable of Face ID.

In FaceTime or Clips, tapping the asterisk will display a list of Memoji, and selecting any character will immediately change the person's appearance to match the selected character. As if wearing a flexible mask that looks like a Memoji. Smiling, winking, and even sticking out tongue are reflected in the Animoji in real-time.

These can be recorded in Clips or used directly in FaceTime calls, which might brighten up a boring meeting. With customizable Memoji and Animoji for iPhone and iPad, Apple is bringing more life to emoji and adding extra fun and personal expression to all of its devices.
