South Kalimantan Governor Uncle Birin Descends To The Village To Encourage Vaccination Achievements
BANJARMASIN - The Governor of South Kalimantan Sahbirin Noor went to the village to encourage the acceleration of achieving the COVID-19 vaccination target.
According to Governor Sahbirin, from today until Saturday, October 9, he will go down to villages in 13 districts and cities in the governor's program to move down to villages.
In the program, added the governor, his party carried the theme "Mobile Vaccination of South Kalimantan Province with the Forkopimda of South Kalimantan".
In addition to vaccination, the governor will also distribute 2,300 packages to all villages visited.
"The program goes down to the village in order to carry out vaccinations and social activities," said the Governor of South Kalimantan, who is familiarly called Uncle Birin, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, October 6.
Meanwhile, Head of the South Kalimantan Provincial Social Service, Siti Nuriyani, said the contents of the aid package to be distributed included sugar, cooking oil and other basic necessities.
In addition to going to villages, the governor also encouraged the acceleration of vaccinations to schools to support the implementation of face-to-face learning.
In addition, vaccinations are also held by several companies to several public and private universities.
Previously, Governor Sahbirin Noor asked the Education and Culture Office in his province to be active in accelerating vaccinations for SMA/SMK and SLB students to support the implementation of face-to-face schools.
According to the Governor, when visiting SMAN 5 Banjarmasin to speed up the administration of vaccinations, Disdik can collaborate with the TNI/POLRI or with private parties who assist in the implementation of vaccinations.
The acceleration of the vaccination, said Sahbirin, is one of the main requirements in face-to-face learning.
