Optimizing PAD, Temanggung Regency Government Installs Tapping Boxes Starting From Hotels, Restaurants Or Restaurants
TEMANGGUNG - The Temanggung Regency Government, Central Java, will increase the number of electronic taxpayer business transaction tools (tapping boxes) to optimize local revenue (PAD).
The Regional Secretary of Temanggung Regency, Hary Agung Prabowo, said that this tapping box will be installed in a number of restaurants, restaurants and hotels. "So that jealousy does not arise between them," he said after a meeting with the Temanggung Regency Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) at the Temanggung Regional Secretariat, Central Java, Antara, Wednesday, October 6 today.
In essence, PHRI agreed to assist local governments in increasing PAD, but they asked for additional tapping boxes to be installed so that there would be no jealousy between them.
Based on the results of the monitoring of the Center for Prevention (MCP) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) some time ago, he said, the tax achievement of this sector is very low.
He mentioned that of the 34 tapping boxes installed in a number of hotels and restaurants, only four tools were operational.
"Therefore, today we made a joint agreement so that in the future it will be even better and all agreed that a banner stand would be installed that all restaurants, restaurants and hotels must pay taxes at the same time," he said.
Agung said they did not operate tapping boxes due to the sluggish economy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Head of the Regional Financial, Revenue and Asset Management Agency (BPKPAD) of Temanggung Regency, Tri Winarno, said that temporary data recorded there were 149 hotels and restaurants.
"It is possible that the data could be more, so we will clarify the data with PHRI and gradually install tapping boxes according to the agreement with PHRI," he said.
