Facebook Gaming Presents Co-Streaming Feature, Makes Game Creators Easier To Show Off

JAKARTA - For Gamers who like to stream, Facebook Gaming now supports the shared streaming feature for all video game makers on its platform. Facebook hears that co-streaming will greatly improve the creator's streaming experience

With this feature, content creators can stream each other simultaneously for up to four accounts at once, allowing viewers to watch from different perspectives.

The co-streaming feature introduced with the company aims to enhance content creator capabilities, encourage collaboration between other content creators, and improve the overall viewing experience for everyone.

Compiled from Venture Beat, Wednesday, October 6, game creators can easily search for and tag up to three other game creators directly from the left side of Live Producer during live streaming, Live Producer Gaming Tab edit streaming module, and Stream Dashboard edit streaming module.

Additionally, game creators will have the option to change them at any time during the broadcast by editing the streaming details module. The streaming-viewing experience will also be activated once another creator re-tags the creator, and the creator will see a confirmation green tick icon next to their name.

For information, Facebook is quite diligent in developing new features for its gaming platform. Earlier in May, the company launched a monetization tool for content creators focused on video-on-demand.

The purpose of adding co-streaming support is also intended for Facebook to catch up. Twitch has been offering similar functionality through its Squad Stream feature since 2019. However, this is a significant addition to Facebook Gaming, especially as it continues to try to compete with Twitch.
