PAN-Ridwan Kamil Being Friendly: We Need Progressive Young Leaders
JAKARTA - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil has publicly stated that he is ready to carry the National Mandate Party (PAN) in the 2024 presidential election.
In response to this, the Secretary General of PAN Eddy Soeparno admitted that his party was also ready to cooperate with Ridwan Kamil. Both in West Java and on a national scale as president.
"We are also ready to participate in a continuous dialogue with Mr. Ridwan Kamil to join together in building West Java, building Indonesia in the future," said Eddy to reporters, Wednesday, October 6. According to Eddy, Indonesia needs a young leader candidate like Ridwan Kamil. Moreover, the former mayor of Bandung has a good track record. "We really need young leaders who are progressive and have a good track record like Mr. Ridwan Kamil," he said.
Therefore, said Eddy, PAN plans to open further dialogue with Ridwan Kamil to discuss the 2024 presidential election. "We will certainly conduct further dialogue with RK to align the vision, mission and perception of Indonesia in the future according to the PAN platform and Pak's work plan. Ridwan Kamil in the future," he said. Previously, the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, admitted that he was open to running in the 2024 presidential election contestation. He stated that he was ready to run if there was an open door from a political party that would support him. "So in 2024, where my destiny is to pick me up, it won't be a problem.
