JAKARTA - Five former top brass of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) will be released today after serving eight months in detention for a case of violating health protocols (prokes) in Petamburan.

They include Harris Ubaidillah, Ahmad Sabri Lubis, Ali Alwi Alatas, Habib Idrus alias Idrus Al Habsyi, and Maman Suryadi.

"God willing, on Wednesday, October 6, he will be released because his detention period has ended in accordance with what has been handed down by the Supreme Court," said the attorney for five former FPI officials, Aziz Yanuar in his statement, Wednesday, October 6. the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. In fact, one of them, Maman Suryadi, was mentioned as being involved in a series of persecutions against Muhammad M. Kece.
