Task Force Records Death Due To COVID-19 In Garut Zero For A Week
GARUT - The Garut COVID-19 Handling Task Force reported zero COVID-19 patient deaths in Garut Regency, West Java for a week. New cases are still found every day with the number under five people.
"For the death toll, there is no death rate this week," said Yeni Yunita, Public Relations Officer of the Garut COVID-19 Handling Task Force in Garut, Antara, Tuesday, October 5.
The data on no death cases of positive COVID-19 patients is based on daily reports at the Garut Health Office. Regarding data on the total number of deaths of COVID-19 patients in Garut, he said, there were 1,170 cases of all positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 as many as 24,685 cases.
"There have been 24,685 positive confirmed cases, 19 self-isolated cases, six hospital isolation cases, 23,490 recovered cases, and 1,170 deaths," he said.
He conveyed that the COVID-19 outbreak in Garut was still happening, every day there were reported new cases of confirmed positive COVID-19 under five cases.
The latest report on Monday, October 4, found that four people were confirmed to have COVID and had received medical treatment.
"The development of COVID-19 cases this week has continued to decline, cases of under five people every day have never existed even one day," he said.
He appealed to all levels of society to maintain health protocols by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, not crowding to avoid the transmission of the COVID-19 outbreak.
"Everyone must have strict health protocols, an appeal from the task force to continue to adhere to health protocols," he said.
