West Java Prosecutor's Office Detains 2 New Corruption Suspects For RTH Indramayu
BANDUNG - The West Java High Prosecutor's Office has detained two new suspects from the private sector with the initials PP and N in the corruption case of Green Open Space Arrangement (RTH) in Indramayu Regency.
Assistant for Special Crimes at the West Java Prosecutor's Office, Riyono, said that PP was the director of the PT which was the executor of the RTH development, while N was the company's broker.
"In this case, there is an alleged state loss of Rp. 2 billion," said Riyono in Bandung, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, October 5.
In addition to PP and N, the West Java Prosecutor's Office has also detained S as the Head of the Housing, Settlement and Land Office of Indramayu Regency and BSM as Head of the Settlement Area Division in the same service.
He explained that the four suspects were suspected of conspiring to engineer the process of structuring a park in Indramayu Regency.
In practice, they are suspected of making forged documents to carry out a garden planning project. With payment engineering, the park is laid out not according to specifications.
According to him, the contract value for the park management project is Rp. 14 billion. However, the total value of the project was not paid, causing a loss of Rp. 2 billion.
"It's not in accordance with the specifications, we have checked this (the park), the payment is also not up to 100 percent," said Riyono.
For that act, they were charged with Article 2 Paragraph (1), Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law No. 31/1999 on the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law No. 20/2001 on Amendments to Law No. 31/1999 on the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.
