Chris Cornell Biography Total F ** King Godhead Released July 28

JAKARTA - Post Hill Press will release Total F * cking Godhead - The Biography Of Chris Cornell, the first comprehensive biography of iconic singer-songwriter Chris Cornell, on July 28. This book is distributed via Simon & Schuster.

Total F * cking Godhead chronicles the rise of Cornell and his eternal band Soundgarden as they emerge from the post-punk underground of the 1980s to dominate 90s pop culture with Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, and Nirvana.

All stories in this biography are the result of input from those who knew and worked with Cornell. And of course, from the grunge icon's own words.

Corbin Reiff, writer of Total F * cking Godhead from Seattle, also immortalized Cornell's dynamic solo career and work with Audioslave. He delves into Cornell's battle against addiction, and Soundgarden's reunion before it all ends in shock.

Reiff first announced he was working on the book in December 2018. At the time, Reiff said he had interviewed legendary Seattle producer Jack Endino, who worked on Soundgarden's early recordings as well as Seattle music critic Dawn Anderson, the first person to ever review the band's music. in 1986.

However, he did not appear to have spoken to members of the Cornell family or his Soundgarden band mates so the record was deemed incomplete.
