Investigate A Hard Drug Factory In Yogjakarta, Bareskrim Arrests Investors
JAKARTA - The Directorate of Narcotics Crime of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police arrested the financiers of two hard drug factories in Yogjakarta. This arrest is part of a series of investigations related to money laundering (TPPU).
"Arrested the financier with the initials S alias C," said Director of Narcotics Crime at the National Police, Brigadier General Krisno Halomoan Siregar in his statement, Tuesday, October 5.
This financier was arrested on Friday, October 1st. Based on the results of the investigation, suspect S alias C got the most profit.
With this arrest, a total of 17 suspects have been arrested in the case. However, Krisno continued, his party is still hunting for another person who acts as a liaison between the financiers and the owner of the drug factory.
"The DPO with the initials EY who is the controller and who communicated intensely with Joko as the factory owner has also been arrested," said Krisno.
On the other hand, in completing the case, at least two teams must be mobilized. Where, the first team focused on the main case and the second investigated money laundering offenses.
"So the direction is indeed there (TPPU) and it is still in the process of deepening," said Krisno. Previously, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police had dismantled two drug manufacturing factories in the Yogyakarta area. The factory produces illegal hard drugs such as Hexymer, Trihex, DMP and double L.
"They don't have a permit. But they sell hard and illegal drugs," said the National Police's Criminal Investigation Officer, Komjen Agus Andrianto in his statement, Monday, September 27.
The manufacture of drugs must be fully monitored because the effects caused are very dangerous, ranging from difficulty concentrating to hallucinations.
"This illegal drug can cause depression, difficulty concentrating, irritability, coordination disorders such as difficulty walking or speaking, convulsions, anxiety or hallucinations," said Agus.
