Papuan DPRD Member Thomas Sondegau Who Was Arrested With Women In Tamansari West Jakarta Becomes Suspect
JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has named Papuan DPRD member Thomas Sondegau as a suspect in connection with drug abuse. But Thomas Sondegau, who was arrested with women in Tamansari, West Jakarta, is undergoing rehabilitation.
"Yes, he is a suspect, but he was rehabilitated," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus, confirmed by VOI, Monday, October 4.
Kombes Yusri confirmed that the suspect status was still pinned to this Papuan DPRD member, Thomas. But the person concerned is undergoing rehabilitation at the Drug Dependence Hospital (RSKO) Cibubur, East Jakarta.
"Yes, he is a suspect, but the results of the assessment have been rehabilitated," said Kombes Yusri.
Previously, officers from the Drug Investigation Directorate of the Metro Jaya Regional Police arrested Papuan DPRD member Thomas Sondegau in connection with alleged drug abuse in Tamansari, West Jakarta on Wednesday, September 27.
During the arrest, officers found evidence in the form of an ecstasy pill.
“Officers conducted a urine test on Thomas who was found to be positive for narcotics.
"One pill of ecstasy, he is positive," said Yusri separately.
