Emtek Owned By Conglomerate Eddy Kusnadi Sariaatmadja Planning To Hold EGMS, Want To Change Commissioner?

JAKARTA - PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk alias Emtek will hold an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS). The issuer with the stock code EMTK also summoned its shareholders to attend the EGMS which was scheduled to take place on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.

Quoted from information disclosure, Tuesday, October 5, the company owned by conglomerate Eddy Kusnadi Sariaatmadja plans to hold a meeting with the agenda of asking for approval of changes to the composition of the company's Board of Commissioners.

The shareholders of the company who are entitled to attend or be represented at the meeting and cast votes are those whose names are recorded in the Register of Shareholders (DPS) on Friday, October 1, 2021 until 16.00 WIB.

For information only, EMTK recorded a net profit of Rp.264.58 billion in the first semester of 2021. This is the opposite of the same period the previous year where Emtek posted a net loss of Rp.210.44 billion.

Emtek's brilliant performance cannot be separated from the increase in the company's top line or revenue. As of June 2021, the company recorded revenues of Rp6.44 trillion, an increase of around 21.56 percent when compared to the previous year's revenue of Rp5.3 trillion.

The segments that support revenue growth are advertising and health services. During this period, the advertising segment earned IDR 2.58 trillion, up 17.8 percent year-on-year (yoy).
