Original LHKPN Report The Office Does Not Have To Worry About Having Much Property
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has no problem if state administrators have a lot of assets. Provided, the obligation to report the State Administrators Asset Report (LHKPN) is still carried out by them.
This was conveyed by the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Basaria Panjaitan when explaining that LHKPN is a form of corruption prevention carried out by the KPK. Over the past four years, this anti-graft agency has continued to strive to increase the compliance of state administrators in reporting their assets.
"LHKPN is one of the indicators of transparency of a state administrator. There has never been a prohibition against a state administrator having a lot of assets, that's fine. As long as they can prove the origin of their assets," Basaria said in his presentation on the 2016-2019 KPK Performance at the KPK Support Building, Jalan Kuningan Persada. , South Jakarta, Tuesday, December 17th.
This transparency, said Basaria, was deemed necessary so that the public could monitor and remind state administrators regarding their property ownership.
Even though a number of state officials are still stubborn regarding this reporting, the KPK continues to strive to improve reporting compliance. One of the ways is by providing technical guidance and outreach to all ministries, institutions, and both central and regional governments.
"One of the ways the KPK once opened a registration desk in Lombok during a disaster," said Basaria.
Not only that, to make LHKPN reporting easier, Basaria said the KPK had made the process easier. One of them is the e-LHKPN procedure.
So, state administrators who have quite a bit of time will no longer need to come to the KPK's Red and White House to report. "With the e-LHKPN, state administrators can report their assets just by opening a laptop," he said.
On that occasion, the KPK also explained that since 2016 the compliance level of LHKPN reporting has increased quite a bit in 2019 after having fallen in 2018.
For 2016, the number of compliance in reporting assets nationally is in the percentage of 70.51 percent. While in 2017 this figure rose to 77.89 percent.
In 2018, this level of compliance fell to 63.78 percent and finally this figure rose in 2018 to 92.46 percent.
As for e-LHKPN reporting, KPK data records that 736,092 executives have reported, furthermore 54,198 legislative members are said to have reported their assets via e-LHKPN.
For the 53,040 judicial administrators, it is said that the KPK has reported through the e-LHKPN facility and as many as 83,278 BUMN and BUMD organizers are said to have also reported through this facility.
