KFC Wants To Make Chicken Nuggets Using 3D Bioprinting Technology

JAKARTA - KFC fast food restaurant continues to innovate to provide the best experience of enjoying fried chicken to its customers. This time, KFC plans to make chicken nuggets using 3D Bioprinting technology.

Launching Zdnet, KFC collaborated with a laboratory in Moscow, Russia to produce processed chicken using 3D Bioprinting technology. Like a 3D printer, later KFC will be able to process processed chicken meat fast.

"3D Bioprinting technology was initially widely known in the medical world. However, nowadays, it is becoming popular in producing foods such as processed meat," said one of the founders of 3D Bioprinting Solutions, Yusef Khesuani, Monday, July 20.

According to Yusef, in the future, processed meat products will be easily made through 3D printing technology. So that the collaboration with KFC in exploring the potential of 3D Bioprinting to produce processed food products that are environmentally friendly.

Later processed meat or chicken nuggets made using the 3D Bioprinting process will use 11 secret herbs and spices concocted by KFC. So that consumers can still taste the original fried chicken made by Colonel Sanders.
