Given Salted Fish, RJ Has The Heart To Beat His Wife

JAKARTA - A husband with the initials RJ (26), a resident of Cengkareng, West Jakarta, has the heart to persecute his wife FK (36) because of a trivial matter. RJ doesn't accept it because of a side dish of salted fish.

Due to the harsh treatment, FK reported her husband to the police. Cengkareng Police Chief, Commissioner Khoiri, confirmed the incident. The police report was made on Saturday, July 18 yesterday.

"Since Saturday (18/7), FK victims have made a report letter," said Khoiri in Jakarta as quoted by Antara, Monday, July 20.

Khoiri said the victim was in bruises when he came to the Cengkareng Police. Previously, the victim was persecuted by slamming, grabbing and scratching by her husband

Apart from being bruised, the victim also experienced abdominal pain due to the abuse.

The persecution was carried out because RJ was suspected of being temperamental. When the perpetrator asked for a side dish of salted fish from his wife, he was impatient and hit the victim.

Then when FK recorded the acts of persecution with his cellphone, RJ seized and slammed the cellphone.

According to Khoiri, the reason the suspect mistreated his wife was only because he felt he was not considered by the victim.

For his actions, the suspect is subject to Article 351 of the Criminal Code concerning persecution. The threat of punishment can be up to five years in prison.
