Pastor Saut's Prayer Resonates In DPD RI: We Are Thankful That God Has Presented Sabam Sirait For The Nation And The Church

JAKARTA - The late Sabam Sirait will be buried at TMP Kalibata, Jakarta on Sunday, October 3 this evening. Before heading to the cemetery, this senior PDIP politician was buried at the Nusantara Building Plaza, MPR/DPR/DPD RI Building Complex.

Deputy Chairman of the DPD RI Mahyudin gave a few words during the funeral procession. Sabam is a role model because of his wisdom.

"The late figure who was wise, protective and disciplined in carrying out his duties and was a senior politician and a true citizen," said Mahyudin at the location.

"During his time as a senator, he has always been consistent and has shown dedication and commitment. Even though he is old, his spirit is not slack," said Mahyudin.

After Mahyudin paid his last respects to the late Sabam Sirait, Pastor Saut Sirait was given the opportunity to invite all audiences to pray according to religion and belief.

Saut asked for permission to carry out prayers according to the Christian way of Sabam Sirait's religion. In prayer, Pastor Saut gave thanks even in a state of sorrow.

"God the glorious Father is merciful and powerful in all places, at all times and in every event. We are grateful even though we are overwhelmed with grief, you have brought Sabam Sirait to the midst of family, church, community and state,"

"A person who truly dedicated himself to the principles and values of a noble life that you desire. The deceased fought for justice at every opportunity, even putting his life for justice," said Pastor Saut.

Sabam Sirait, the pastor's prayer, is a form of God's gift. Throughout his life, he has completely loved religion, ethnicity and everything else.

"Because of his faith in YOU, we are truly grateful. We pray for our nation and country, which was the dream of the deceased to always go forward and always. We pray for Mr. President Jokowi and the cabinet at the center and throughout the region, God bless and give strength for cooperation," said Pastor Saut .
