JAKARTA - The COVID-19 Task Force (Satgas) of Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, recorded the recovery rate of positive COVID-19 patients to date as many as 9,177 people.
Spokesman for the COVID-19 Task Force for Bangka Regency, Boy Yandra in Sungailiat, said that a temporary total of 9,177 COVID-19 patients who were declared cured, including the addition of nine daily recovered patients.
He said, with thousands of COVID-19 patients who recovered after undergoing the health process, the recovery percentage reached more than 97 percent of the total 9,722 cases or 190 active patients.
"From the cumulative data, it shows that the progress of the recovery rate for COVID-19 patients is quite significant due to the level of discipline in implementing health care programs in the community and the optimization of the implementation of vaccination services," he said, quoted from Antara, Sunday, October 3.
He is optimistic that the Bangka Regency area will soon return to the safe zone for the spread of the new type of corona virus, which has been going on for almost two years.
"I remind all people of mandatory vaccine age who have not been vaccinated to immediately go to the vaskin outlet to accelerate the projected target of 70 percent of the vaccine target by the end of 2021," he said.
