How to Download Videos on the YouTube Application Open the YouTube application on your smartphone, then select or search for the video you want to download. You can play the pre-selected video. Click the "Download" button below the video, which is lined with the "Like", "Share" and "Save" buttons. A window will appear showing the video quality, starting from Low (144p), Medium (360p), to High (720p). Select the video quality you want. The higher the video quality you select, the larger the video size will be. After selecting the desired video quality, click the "OK" button, and the video will start downloading.

When finished, the videos you download from YouTube will be collected on the "Downloads" page which can be accessed by clicking the "Library" tab at the bottom right corner of the YouTube home page.
