Kabarhakam Reminds Bali Police To Not Play In Handling Crimes In Waters
DENPASAR - Kabaharkam Polri Komjen Arief Sulistiyanto emphasized to the Bali Police Polair ranks not to play games and not to abuse their authority in eradicating crimes in Bali's waters.
"I hope that no one is playing games, let alone abusing their authority, such as helping behind the crime," said Komjen Arief Sulistiyanto during his visit to monitor vaccinations at Benoa Harbor, Bali, quoted by Antara, Friday, October 1.
He said that the Polair staff had a difficult task and were vulnerable to disturbances in the security and social order such as smuggling and other crimes, so that the entire Polair staff should not be involved in assisting these crimes.
"Because the responsibilities of the Polair officers in their duties are very heavy, where in the waters they are very vulnerable to disturbances of Kamtibmas such as smuggling and other crimes. So, don't play games, let alone abuse their authority," said Komjen Arief.
He stressed that all ranks must be able to protect and create a safe and conducive Kamtibmas, so that the community can carry out their activities comfortably and feel protected by the presence of the Police.
In addition, specifically for the facilities and infrastructure owned by the Bali Police Directorate of Polairud such as ships and other infrastructures, they must be treated as well as possible.
Kabaharkam also reminded during the COVID-19 pandemic to maintain health and always comply with health protocols.
"I emphasize from all my directives that they should be handled and implemented as well as possible, so that Bali can be safe and comfortable, and quickly free from the COVID-19 pandemic, because Bali is one of the international tourist destinations and even many international-standard activities are carried out on the island of Bali. "said Komjen Arief.
