Streets Strike Out Urging To Resign, Malang Mayor: Let Allah Deal With Everything Later, I'm The Important Worker
MALANG - Malang Mayor Sutiaji became the target of vandalism. The graffiti had a provocative tone with the sound "Mayor Tewur, Retreat Ji'.
Responding to that, Sutiaji admitted that he did not mind being criticized. However, he regretted that criticism was carried out in a public place with graffiti.
"If I really really care. I want to imitate the Prophet, blasphemed all kinds of things. But let God take care of everything. It's important for me to work, work and work,'' Malang Mayor Sutiaji told reporters, Friday, October 1.
Sutiaji regretted that the action was carried out in a public facility. Besides being disturbing, according to him, it also interferes with the function and aesthetics of public facilities.
"Yes, I have no problem with the object myself. But if it's in public facilities, don't do it," he said.
Sutiaji said that if residents wanted to express their aspirations, it could be done in the right place.
"Don't let us make Malang City not conducive, which is only natural. Show us Arema, one soul," he said.
The graffiti urging the Mayor of Malang to resign was found at 4 points in Malang City, namely at the Mayor's official house, the intersection of the National Institute of Technology (ITN), the Rajawali intersection, and Jalan Basuki Rahmat.
