Police Hunt Detainees In Kidnapping Cases Who Escaped From Gowa Police Cell

MAKASSAR - The Resmob team, Gowa Police, South Sulawesi, are chasing a prisoner with the initials RA who escaped from the police custody cell.

"Yes, that's right, the perpetrator managed to escape, and last night we immediately moved quickly to give chase," said Gowa Police Chief, AKBP Tri Goffarudin to reporters in Makassar quoted by Antara, Friday, October 1.

RA is known to have been involved in the alleged kidnapping of a minor 11 months ago. So far there is no information on where the perpetrators are hiding.

Tri said a team had been dispatched to find the perpetrators, including coordinating with his family. If you find the perpetrator at his house, immediately report it or hand him over to the Gowa Police.

"It has been conveyed to the family so that the person concerned immediately surrenders 1x24 hours," he stressed.

Separately confirmed by Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Gowa Police, AKP Boby Rachman also confirmed that prisoners had escaped. However, teams have been deployed to track down and recapture the detainees.

"It is true, the prisoner (RA) escaped and the Gowa Police Resmob team is currently pursuing the suspect," he said.

Bobby also confirmed that he had a case of alleged kidnapping by taking a child away, whose case is currently in the process of being investigated.

Asked about the chronology of the prisoner escaping from the Gowa Police detention cell, Boby has not provided detailed information.
