Corruption In Procurement Of Ducks At The Agriculture Service, Aceh Police Set 4 Suspects

ACEH - The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of the Aceh Police has named four suspects for corruption in the procurement of ducks for the 2019 fiscal year at the Southeast Aceh Regency Agriculture Service with a value of Rp. 12.9 billion.

Director of Special Criminal Investigation of the Aceh Police, Kombes Sony Sanjaya, said that the determination of the suspect was based on the results of a case carried out by Sub-Directorate III of Corruption Crimes of the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of the Aceh Police.

"We have filed a case related to a corruption case related to the procurement of ducks in Southeast Aceh. As a result, four people have been named as suspects," said Sony in Banda Aceh, Antara, Friday, October 1.

The four suspects are MR as the Commitment Making Officer (PPK), AB as the Budget User (PA) for duck procurement, KHS alias AS as the executor of the duck procurement activity as well as the director of the CV BD company and YP as the CV BD field implementer.

"All of them have fulfilled the elements to be made suspects in cases that are very detrimental to the country. Investigators continue to complete case files to be transferred to the public prosecutor," said Sony.

Previously, the Aceh Police through the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation investigated allegations of corruption in the procurement of laying ducks with a value of Rp. 12.9 billion in the Southeast Aceh District Government.

The Southeast Aceh District Government in 2018 and 2019 allocated funds in the amount of Rp. 12.9 billion in the District Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBK).

The budget sourced from the general allocation fund (DAU) was used to procure 84,459 laying ducks which were distributed to 194 livestock groups, 500 each per group.
