JAKARTA - IKEA Indonesia has officially opened its fourth store in Indonesia. The location of the store is in Jakarta Garden City (JGC) Cakung, East Jakarta, which has been open since September 16, 2021, and was inaugurated on September 30.

IKEA Jakarta Garden City has a total of 54 room sets, some of which carry the concept of a green room setting that can be applied by Jakarta residents who care about the environment by always following a sustainable lifestyle.

Through this shop, the Swedish company that was founded in 1943 wants to be closer to providing quality, affordable, and suitable household furniture solutions to the needs of today's society.

"The IKEA Jakarta Garden City store is one of our steps towards a commitment to creating a better everyday life for many people. Now we are closer to the people of East Jakarta and its surroundings", said President Director of PT Rumah Mebel Nusantara (IKEA Indonesia), Patrik Lindvall, in his written statement, quoted Friday, October 1.

Meanwhile, Helen Hamzah, Director of Marketing Urban Development of PT Modernland Realty Tbk welcomed the presence of IKEA Jakarta Garden City. IKEA will provide many conveniences for residents of Jakarta Garden City and the people of East Jakarta and its surroundings for household furniture products.

Helen added the presence of IKEA Jakarta Garden City will complement several existing residents' facilities. Various life and lifestyle support facilities are available at Jakarta Garden City, ranging from shopping malls, health centers, schools, modern markets, Shell gas stations, commercial areas to culinary facilities.
