Nine Supervisory Teams Formed By The DPR To Oversee Government Policy
JAKARTA - The House of Representatives (DPR) officially formed nine supervisory and monitoring teams. The team aims to supervise various policies produced by the government together with the DPR.
The Chairman of the DPR, Puan Maharani, said that in the implementation of its supervisory function, during this trial period, the DPR, through the Council's Apparatus, had discussed with Working Partners various issues that were of concern to the DPR and / or the public.
Puan said that the DPR monitoring and supervisory team is expected to be able to optimize its performance and supervisory function as a representation of the people.
According to Puan, this team was specially formed to oversee and correct Government policies so that they continue to be in line with the wishes of the wider community.
"Regarding these matters of supervision, during the Second Session Period, it is hoped that the Government will be able to provide follow-up progress on various problems that are of concern to the DPR and / or the public," said Puan, at the DPR Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, December 17th.
Of the nine teams, four of them are the supervisory team. They are the team to oversee the development of border areas, the supervisory team for the protection of Indonesia's oil and gas performance, the supervisory team for the implementation of disaster management and the supervisory team for the haj pilgrimage organizers.
In addition, there are five monitoring teams. Among them are the monitoring team for the implementation of the Special Autonomy Law for Aceh, Papua, West Papua, the Specialties of Yogyakarta Special Region and DKI Jakarta.
There is also a team for monitoring and evaluating the proposed regional development program (UP2DP), a team for strengthening parliamentary diplomacy, a team for implementing reform in the DPR, and a team for the Open Parliament for Indonesia (OPI).
