South Sumatra Prosecutor's Office Examines 4 Witnesses In The Corruption Case Of Gas Purchase That Trapped Alex Noerdin
PALEMBANG - The South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office examined four witnesses in the case of alleged corruption in the purchase of natural gas from the Regional Mining and Energy Company (PDPDE) in 2010-2019.
Head of the Legal Information Section of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office, Khaidirman, said that the examination of the four witnesses was to complete the case files for suspects Alex Noerdin and Muddai Madang and Caca Isa Saleh in the alleged corruption case.
"In that case, we will re-examine four more people as witnesses," he said, quoted by Antara, Thursday, September 30.
The four witnesses had the initials W (financial controller at PT. Swarna Dwipa Sumsel Gemilang), RH (former Head of the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of the South Sumatra Provincial Government), NS (Plh Director of Operations at PT. PDPDE concurrently commissioner of PT. PDPDE gas in 2009) and RY ( Director of PT Dika Karya Lintas Nusa).
Khaidirman revealed that the four were examined in the Special Criminal Room on the sixth floor of the South Sumatra High Court building.
Meanwhile, the examination of the four witnesses was carried out by a team of investigating prosecutors at the Directorate of Investigation of the Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jam Pidsus) of the Attorney General's Office and the Investigation Team of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office.
Previously, investigators also examined nine people as witnesses, namely ES (former Governor of South Sumatra), MS (Former Regional Secretary of South Sumatra Province), IM (Former Chair of the PDPDE Management Board).

"All of the witnesses were examined to find legal facts about the corruption that occurred in the South Sumatra PDPDE," he said.
