KPK Team Checks Banten International Stadium Development Project

SERANG - Banten Governor Wahidin Halim (WH) together with the Director of Regional Coordination (Korwil) II Deputy for Coordination and Supervision of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Yudhiawan inspected the construction of the Banten International Stadium or Sport Center in Serang.

Banten Governor Wahidin Halim was accompanied by the Plt Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Banten Province, Muhtarom, and several heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD). Meanwhile, Yudhiawan was accompanied by the Head of the Regional Coordination Task Force II Dwi Aprillia Astuti.

After reviewing the construction of the Banten International Stadium, Governor Wahidin Halim said, his arrival together with the Director of Regional Coordination (Korwil) II Deputy for Coordination and Supervision of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Yudhiawan to ensure that the construction was running smoothly and without deviations.

The Governor of Banten explained that he had twice reviewed the construction of the Banten International Stadium in the Sport Center area.

"First, when construction was still at 55 percent and now it has reached 74 percent," he said, quoted by Antara, Thursday, September 30.

Wahidin hopes that the construction of the stadium will run smoothly and can be used by the community.

Meanwhile, Director of Regional Coordination (Korwil) II Deputy for Coordination and Supervision of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Yudhiawan said his party visited the stadium construction site to carry out inspections.

"We carried out inspections to this stadium, Alhamdulillah it went smoothly," he said.

According to Yudhiawan, the point is that the KPK participates in overseeing so that the budget that has been issued by the state which is used for sports facilities can be used as well as possible and will later be useful for the benefit of the community.

Furthermore, Yudhiawan hopes that the construction can run smoothly and avoid corruption.

"I just hope it goes smoothly and people can take advantage of it," he said.
