Yogya Residents Are Required To Bring Cellphones To Enter Prawirotama Market, Check QR Code Care To Protect The Problem

JAKARTA - The Yogyakarta City Trade Office has begun to carry out a number of technical preparations related to the plan to use the QR code from the PeduliLindung application in traditional markets in the city.

"It is possible to implement the QR code in stages. We will see which markets are considered ready," said Head of the Yogyakarta City Trade Office Yunianto Dwi Sutono in Yogyakarta, Thursday, September 30.

According to him, one of the 30 traditional markets in Yogyakarta City which is currently considered quite ready to implement the QR code is Prawirotaman Market.

The market on Jalan Parangtritis, which has just been revitalized, is a healthy market in the city of Yogyakarta and is quite good at implementing health protocols and is equipped with other supporting facilities.

A number of preparations made by the Trade Office before implementing the QR code from the PeduliLindung application were to ensure that all traders in traditional markets had been vaccinated.

"Of course, it is necessary at this time to ensure that all traders have been vaccinated because the application will record whether people who enter the market have been vaccinated or not," he said as quoted by Antara.

Yunianto said that the vaccination achievement for market traders had reached more than 90 percent and left around 800 traders who had not been vaccinated.

"We have spoken with the Health Office to complete the vaccination for market traders. We hope that by mid-October it will be completed," he said.

At the beginning of this week, there were around 200 traders and creative economy players in Prawirotaman Market who underwent vaccinations and traders in other markets will follow.

Meanwhile, Head of the People's Market Division of the Yogyakarta City Trade Office, Gunawan Nugroho Utomo, said that the implementation of the PeduliLindung application also needs to be initiated by educating traders, visitors and other stakeholders.

"So, when the program was implemented, there were no difficulties or obstacles. Everything could go well," he said, adding that all traditional markets in the city of Yogyakarta will implement a QR code that is connected to the PeduliLindung application.
