Firmly, Indro Warkop Has Proof That Warkop Never Asked For Permission

JAKARTA - Indro Warkop's summons to Warkopi's personnel and management has a long tail. Warkopi denied that when they said they had never asked for permission, they claimed to have contacted them but had not received a response. Indro denied Warkop's claim about the permit that had been issued to Warkop DKI.

Indro said that his party had never had a problem with the similarity of the face, but had permission to use the Warkop DKI brand. "What I protest for permission, for good etiquette is that (brand). People say 'that's who knows God gave it', no, I don't have a problem with it," said Indro Warkop on the Deddy Corbuzier Podcast, Thursday, September 30 .

Indro admitted that he had strong evidence for his objection to the permit previously claimed by Warkopi. According to Indro, the evidence is in the form of an email sent by Warkopi. "I can prove it with their emails and ours," he said.

Indro then said that it was true that one of Warkopi's personnel had sent a short message via direct message on his son's Instagram. But at that time Warkopi members were advised to contact the management directly.

"They contacted my son and they said they DMed me, this is the story. But at that time it was Alfin himself, who was just like me. Be directed because that's the area of management that takes care of me, management was given (contact)," said Indro.

In this case, anyone is prohibited from using the name Warkop DKI in any interest or business. At that time, Alfin was advised to contact the Warkop institution.

"I've been told no, the right is not Om Indro but the Warkop institution. He was given his contact, email, contacted on September 10. The (initial communication) happened in August and he sent September," he said.

Then, said Indro, during the communication, Warkopi never once asked for permission. Instead, they asked Warkop DKI, especially Indro, to meet. At that time, Warkopi claimed that many television stations had invited him to attend the event.

However, the DKI Warkop management asked for an explanation in advance about the things that would be discussed at the meeting. But what happened was that Warkopi just disappeared.

"Until it was finally answered again 10 days later, after the noise started, the answer was still the same. The point is that there is not a single word asking for permission," said Indro Warkop.
