Well, It Turns Out That The IPhone 13 Pro Camera Is Still Inferior To The Huawei P50 Pro, This Is The Proof

JAKARTA – A report from mobile device testing company Dxomark reveals that the iPhone 13 Pro's camera is not the best. Dxomark considers that the Huawei P50 Pro camera is at the top of the current line of smartphone cameras.

Dxomark has tested and analyzed by capturing and evaluating as many as 3,000 test images. They also tested more than 2.5 hours of video around the lab including indoor and outdoor scenes using the phone's camera in default settings.

From these tests and analysis, the Huawei P50 Pro dominates the best mobile camera performance with a score of 144. The P50 Pro smartphone is equipped with a main lens of 50 MP, 40 MP monochrome, 64 MP tele, and 13 MP ultrawide.

Dxomark considers that the camera phone offers outstanding still image quality in all conditions. The Huawei P50 Pro camera also managed to set a new record in the photo category with a score of 149.

Dxomark revealed that the Huawei P50 Pro camera test results were the best in all categories. It's just that the preview image is often different from the last image taken, especially during high-contrast lighting conditions.

In the zoom feature, the P50 Pro camera gets a score of 107. The phone is indeed known to have a gahar camera and the best quality for zooming in and out of images. From the video side, the P50 Pro excels in its autofocus which is claimed to be the best.

While the latest Apple iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Mini phones are only able to rank 4 and 11 in terms of cameras based on the Dxomark score. The two cellphone cameras scored 137 and 130. Still far less than the P50 Pro, which scored 144.

iPhone 13 Pro is equipped with three cameras, namely the main camera of 12 MP, ultrawide 12 MP, and telephoto 12 MP. However, the photo score got a score of 144. Still missing a few points from the Huawei P50 photo category score of 149.

However, the iPhone 13 Pro photo score of 144 is considered very good because the color rendering results with skin tones are quite good with a warm touch overall very reliable.

Dxomark considers that the overall camera of the iPhone 13 Pro is very similar to the camera of the iPhone 12 Pro, only that it has a number of improvements from the previous version such as color and contrast in portrait mode and more detailed backlighting.

The video zoom score is only able to reach a score of 76. Although its performance has gotten an increase from its predecessor with 3x optical zoom. While the video score is 119. A very high achievement because it has improved autofocus.

While the iPhone 13 Mini camera is equipped with dual cameras, each of 12 MP. Dxomark says that the quality is very good but there is still some noise in the lighting.

In addition, the iPhone 13 Mini is also not equipped with a telephoto lens like the 13 Pro version. On the other hand, the ultrawide quality is also quite good. It's just that the zoom quality of this phone's camera can't compete with the others.

In the video category, the phone has 117 points, only 2 points less than the iPhone 13 Pro. In terms of video, Dxomark still finds some noise and artifacts in the video.
