VIDEO: Sabam Sirait, PDIP Founder Dies
JAKARTA - Sabam Sirait, a politician who is also the founder of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP), has died.
The senior politician died on Wednesday, September 29 at around 22:37 WIB, at the age of 85 years. Before he died, Sabam Sirait had undergone intensive treatment at the Siloam Karawaci Hospital.
Sabam Sirait is a senior politician who was born in Simardan Island, Tanjungbalai, North Sumatra, October 13, 1936. The deceased was a member of the Gotong Royong DPR (DPR-GR) for the period 1967 - 1973.
He was also a member of the DPR for the period 1992 - 2009. The late Sabam Sirait was a member of the Regional Representatives Council for the period 2019 to the present.
