Police Reveals The Murder Of Grandmother Who Was Slashed With Sharp Weapons In West Aceh
MEULABOH - Investigators from the Criminal Investigation Unit of the West Aceh Police have uncovered the murder case of Dahniar (65), a resident of Peunaga Baro Village, Meureubo District, West Aceh. The victim was killed by a sharp weapon.
"We managed to uncover this case after officers conducted an investigation for almost two months," said West Aceh Police Chief AKBP Andrianto Argamuda accompanied by Head of Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Parmohonan Harahap, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, September 29.
The suspect was arrested in this case with the initials ZU (35 years) a resident of Alue Ambang Village, Teunom District, Aceh Jaya Regency.
From the suspect's hands, the police managed to find a number of evidences, each pair of shoes, a pair of pants, a pink t-shirt, a knife, a gold bracelet, a Honda Beat Pop motorcycle.
Police Chief Arga explained that the case was revealed after the police conducted a series of investigations to uncover the murder case.
He explained that the suspect ZU was arrested by the police at a restaurant in the Peunaga Cut Village area, Meurebo District, West Aceh Regency after the police found a bright spot against the suspected perpetrator.
After the arrest, the suspect ZU later admitted to killing Dahniar by slitting the victim's throat using a small knife (cutter) into the victim's neck.
As a result of his actions, Dahniar's victim was found dead with a wound in the neck.
Police Chief Arga explained that suspect ZU was suspected of being desperate to kill the victim Dahniar, allegedly because he was hurt, because the victim was allegedly not willing to lend Rp. 3 million to the suspect to pay off the motorcycle loan arrears.
After killing the victim, the perpetrator then took a gold glass belonging to the victim and then tried to sell it to a number of traders in Aceh Jaya Regency.
However, this attempt failed because the merchant did not want to buy gold jewelry because the perpetrator could not show the gold purchase certificate.
"In this case, the police ensnared suspect ZU with Article 338 and/or Article 363 paragraph (1) to 3 e of the Criminal Code with a maximum imprisonment of 15 years," he said.
