Bekasi Regency Government Requires Care Application To Protect Office Entry Access

BEKASI - The Bekasi Regency Government, West Java, requires the use of the PeduliLindung application as access to enter offices within the government environment for every employee and guest who comes.

"Every employee or guest who comes to the government office must scan the QR Code on the application before entering the room," said Acting Bekasi Regent Dani Ramdan in Cikarang quoted by Antara, Wednesday, September 29.

Dani said the policy refers to the Circular Letter of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Number 21 of 2021.

The policy, he said, was applied to government offices, starting from the regent's building, regional officials, as well as public service offices to sub-district and village/kelurahan offices.

"The circular letter was made to strengthen health protocols in governance of government agencies during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are implementing the circular," he said.

In addition to the Bekasi Regency Government office environment, the application of PeduliLindungi application must also be carried out by every company and factory in industrial areas.

"We have sent the letter to the company, so employees when they enter must scan the QR code on the application. Including minimarkets, later we will expand the application of the PeduliLindung application so that people are encouraged to vaccinate," he said.

Meanwhile, the Bekasi Metro Police Chief Kombes Hendra Gunawan said the expansion of the mandatory use of the PeduliLindung application was aimed at strengthening health protocols to prevent the transmission of the corona virus.

"According to the results of a meeting with the Regent and elements of Forkopimda yesterday, we will monitor the use of this application, especially in industrial areas. So factory workers are required to scan the QR code of the application before working," he said.

Hendra admitted that a number of locations have required the use of this application, including malls and supermarkets. The Bekasi Metro Police have also implemented the same thing at the SIM service area and the place where the SKCK is made.

"All officers and the public who enter the Bekasi Metro Police are also required to show proof of vaccination through the PeduliLindung application," he said.
