Former KPK Spokesman Johan Budi Asks The Police To Coordinate With BKN-Menpan RB Regarding The Recruitment Of 56 KPK Employees
JAKARTA - Member of Commission III of the DPR who is also a former spokesman for the KPK, Johan Budi, asked the National Police to coordinate with the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) and MenPAN RB regarding the recruitment of 56 KPK employees who will be fired tomorrow.
"Of course, the National Police cannot immediately recruit. They must first coordinate with the Menpan-RB and BKN," said Johan at the DPR building, Wednesday, September 29.
The PDIP politician believes that BKN and MenPAN RB have a solution to the TWK problem and the steps taken by the National Police Chief.
"Maybe these two institutions (BKN and KemenPAN-RB) have suggestions or steps that can be a meeting point for TWK at the KPK," Johan explained.
Johan admitted that he did not agree if the transfer of the status of a KPK employee was the reason for the dismissal of a KPK employee. Therefore, he considered the steps taken by the National Police Chief to withdraw 56 employees who did not pass the TWK as a solution.
"I personally don't agree that this transfer of status will result in the dismissal of KPK employees. But this has already happened, then there is a solution that the National Police Chief has presented," he said.
But Johan believes that the KPK employee can work well if he is pulled over to the police. According to him, the 56 employees who were fired had experience and had their integrity tested.
"The 56 employees have worked at the KPK for many years, and have shown their integrity. We have to admit that. Maybe the detailed reason can be asked to the National Police Chief," he said.
But Johan said he could not advise his former colleagues at the KPK to accept the offer from the National Police Chief Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo. According to him, the decision is in the hands of each employee.
"So if they agree or not, I can't interfere with that. What is certain is that each individual has an opinion, some may want it, some may not," he said.
Previously reported, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo will recruit 56 KPK employees who were fired because they did not pass the National Insight Test (TWK). They will be used as State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in Bhayangkara Corps.
In the recruitment effort, the National Police Chief has written to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). The letter relates to a request for permission regarding the recruitment of KPK employees who will be fired on September 30.
Meanwhile, the National Police stated that they were still discussing the mechanism related to the recruitment of 56 KPK employees who did not pass the TWK.
"Regarding this, it will be discussed first. In this case, it is delegated to the Karo for Personnel Control (Dalpers), it will be discussed first how to recruit him," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan.
In placing the position, the Police stated that they must be careful and thorough. This is because each of the 56 KPK employees has a different background.
