Puteri Indonesia And MRAT Support XX National Sports Week In Papua

JAYAPURA - The National Sports Week or PON XX Papua will soon take place on October 2-15, 2021. With the theme "TORANG BISA", there will be 37 sports and 56 sports disciplines that will be competed. Puteri Indonesia also supports this event.

PON XX Papua 2021 will be held in 4 locations, namely Jayapura City, Jayapura Regency, Mimika Regency, and Merauke Regency.

As an event of the nation's proud sports week, PT Mustika Ratu Tbk (MRAT) also supports the success of the event by sending Miss Indonesia 2020, Ayuma Maulida Putri as a spoke person to give encouragement as well as see the preparations for the opening of PON XX which is planned to be attended and opened by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo on 2 October.

While in Papua, Ayuma together with Mustika Ratu scheduled various activities to support the success of PON XX and increase Papuan tourism, such as meeting with the Mayor of Jayapura, Daily Chair of PB PON, Chancellor of Cendrawasih University and meeting with athletes from various sports.

In front of the XX PON Athletes, Ayuma gave enthusiasm and motivation to compete in a healthy and sporting manner. “There are no words to describe how extraordinary Papua is. This island is a reflection of Bhineka Tunggal Ika through its natural diversity and heritage which impressed me at first glance," he said.

"As Miss Indonesia, I am honored to be in Papua in preparation for the opening of the 20th National Sports Week, on this occasion I would like to convey to; Continue to maintain health protocols in any activity and maintain body immunity. Don't forget to vaccinate at the nearest place, only those who have been vaccinated can enter the PON area. To the athletes to play honestly, ANTI-DOPPING, and I am here to show everyone that Papua is SAFE and READY for the Match. Ayuma also advised not to forget to buy Papuan local creative products, there are noken, handicrafts, batik and souvenirs or PON XII souvenirs as memories and souvenirs so that you miss and return to Papua again.

Ayuma also had the opportunity to monitor the implementation of vaccinations and appreciate all parties who support the program. Vaccinations must continue to be improved, so that all activities can return to work during the COVID-19 pandemic
