The Village Head In Ubud With Karaoke Viral Ignores Prokes Not Processed By Law, Only Provided With Education
GIANYAR - The Ubud Police, Gianyar, Bali, only provides education to the head of Singakerta Village, Ubud District, whose videos have gone viral because of karaoke and ignoring health protocols.
"He has been educated. He has apologized to the residents. Because he only sings. Only there are no more than 20 people there," said Ubud Police Chief AKP I Made Tama, when contacted, Wednesday, September 29.
Tama said that the village head had been examined as well as given education so as not to do the same thing in the future.
The village head sang karaoke after the wedding ceremony was held on Friday, September 24 last week. The police asked the village head not to repeat the same action again so as not to cause unrest for the community.
"Don't repeat the action again. So as not to cause public unrest. So that everyone maintains health protection in a situation like this," said AKP Tama.
The video of the village head in Ubud, Gianyar, Bali previously went viral. The village head seemed to be singing ignoring the prokes.
The village head was engrossed in dancing while singing Iwan Fals' song Bento. The video was allegedly recorded at a wedding celebration and spread through WhatsApp groups to social media.
