Selling 182 Hectares Of Land Belonging To Others, Land Mafia In Cipocok Serang Arrested By Banten Police
SERANG CITY - RMT (63), a resident of Serang City, was arrested by the Banten Police Land Mafia Task Force. He is suspected of having sold another 182 hectares (ha) of land owned by someone else.
Director of the General Criminal Investigation Department of the Banten Police, Kombes Pol Ade Rahmat Idnal, said the arrest was based on LP No. 316 dated August 25, 2021, regarding the crime of forgery of letters and or embezzlement of rights to immovable property, with the reporter Kustohid, SH, an attorney.
"The crime scene (the crime scene) related to the land is located in Banjarsari Village, Cipocok District, Serang City", said Ade Rahmat in a statement received by VOI, Wednesday, September 29.
Ade Rahmat explained that this case started with Sugianto Lukman (late) buying several plots of land in Kel. Banjarsari District. Cipocok, Serang City in 825 AJB in 1993-1997, covering an area of 182 ha and has never been traded to other parties.
"Regarding several plots of land that are currently being reported on, Sugianto Lukman (late) bought some of these plots from Ahmad bin Jami, the buyer on behalf of Aida Holling (employee) in AJB No. 729 dated February 27, 1995, the SPPT is still in the name of Aida Holling, also, However, when BPN Serang conducted boundary measurements, it was found that the land parcels had issued SHM No. 4344/Banjarsari, AJB No. 162/2007 dated February 26, 2007, it should have been on a detailed map of field 738, However, the perpetrator deliberately entered the 970 detail map into the SHM even though the 970 detail map had been transacted in AJB No. 729/1995", he explained.
"However, after learning that there were documents that did not match the truth, the heirs on behalf of Neneng reported the incident to the Land Mafia Task Force of the Banten Police", he continued.
Based on this case, Ade Rahmat added that the Land Mafia Task Force of the Banten Police has examined 17 witnesses ranging from the complainant, heirs, notaries, BPN, the reported, and other witnesses.
"And from the arrest of suspect RMT (63) we secured evidence in the form of AJB bundles No. 729 of 1995, more than 100 minutes of original AJB, a list of tax assessments (DHKP), block maps, letter C, maps of details of legalization, land books and some receipts", he said.
Article 263 of the Criminal Code concerning forgery of letters and the use of forged documents, the threat of 6 years in prison, Article 266 of the Criminal Code concerning the crime of ordering false information to be included in an authentic deed, the threat of 7 years in prison and Article 385 of the Criminal Code concerning embezzlement of rights to immovable objects, the threat of 4 years in prison.
Furthermore, Ade Rahmat stated that the Land Mafia Task Force of the Banten Police had responded quickly to President Jokowi's instructions and the National Police Chief's Priority Program, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, to enforce strict laws against the land mafia.
"We also urge the public who made transactions against the RMT suspect to report the incident to the Banten Police Land Mafia Task Force, because of the potential to become victims with the same mode. And currently, the Banten Police Land Mafia Task Force continues to coordinate intensively with the KPK to be able to follow up investigation and finding of facts that have been inventoried by the Land Mafia Task Force of the Banten Police", he concluded.
Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police, AKBP Shinto Silitonga, added that law enforcement against the RMT suspect used scientific criminal investigation, where the fingerprints used by the RMT suspect in the AJB were not identical to the actual fingerprint owners.
"And I appeal to all people in the jurisdiction of the Banten Police to be careful in conducting land transactions, first carrying out the clear and clean stages of the history of the land and the basis of the rights held on the plot of land. Beware of the land mafia", he added.
