Korpri Uniforms Are Prohibited From Being Modified At Will
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Civil Service Corps (Korpri) Zudan Arif Fakhrulloh stated that the use of Korpri uniforms is prohibited from being modified arbitrarily.
This was in response to a photo of an ASN wearing a Korpri uniform with a robe model that went viral on Twitter. The circulation of the photo caused various reactions from netizens.
"We cannot make the Korpri clothes arbitrarily. It must be in accordance with the rules, everything is neatly arranged," Zudan said when contacted by VOI, Friday, July 17.
The provisions regarding the Korpri uniform model are regulated in the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation (Permendagri) Number 11 of 2020 concerning the Clothing of the State Civil Apparatus within the Ministry of Home Affairs and Regional Government.
In Article 24, ASN within the Ministry of Home Affairs and Local Government is required to wear official clothing with full attributes, hair cut short neatly and according to ethics for men, and not dye flashy hair.
In the attached image, the uniform is used as a reference, the Korpri shirt for civil servants with long sleeves. Then, the length of the shirt only reaches below the waist with a blend of dark blue pants or skirt.
This blue batik uniform must be used in certain activities, such as the birthday ceremony of the Indonesian Civil Service Corps, the 17th of every month, national holidays ceremonies, meetings and meetings organized by the Korpri.
Then, there are sanctions imposed if ASN does not comply with the provisions in Korpri uniform. In Article 25, it is stated that ASN who does not comply will be subject to administrative sanctions in the form of an oral warning at most 3 times by the direct supervisor and a written warning at most 2 times by the Code of Ethics Council in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations.
For ASNs wearing Korpri uniforms similar to robes, Zudan admitted that his party was still searching for sanctions in the form of warnings.
"Who and where the ASN has not been met. Later, when we do, we will be reprimanded by the local Korpri," he said.
Photo of ASN in uniform like a robe has been uploaded on Twitter social media since yesterday. In fact, Democratic Party politician Ferdinand Hutahaean also commented on the photo.
"This is serious, this person's photo is not edited? If it is serious, the institution where he works should be sanctioned because this outfit violates the rules and regulations regarding ASN official clothing," Ferdinand chirped.
This is a serious photo of this person, not an edit? If it were serious, the institution where they worked should have imposed sanctions because these clothes violated the rules and regulations regarding ASN official clothing. Apart from breaking the rules, this would damage the national culture. @kemendagri https://t.co/LRF7nfLi1e
