The Madago Raya Task Force Is Getting Ready To Get A Reward From The National Police Chief: Hopefully It Will Be Our Charity Field
JAKARTA - National Police Chief Gen. Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo appreciated the performance of the Madago Raya Task Force in cracking down on fugitives from the Poso East Indonesia Mujahidin (MIT) terrorist group. It has even succeeded in killing its leader, Ali Kalora.
In a written statement received in Jakarta, Tuesday, National Police Chief Sigit said the effort was a manifestation of the presence of the TNI-Polri in maintaining security and public order from all terror threats.
"Measured decisive action has been taken against the leadership of the MIT group, it is hoped that all efforts to maintain security and order from the threat of terror groups can become a field of charity for all of us," said Sigit while leading the briefing to the Madago Raya Operations Task Force, together with the TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto. at Kasiguncu Airport, Poso, Central Sulawesi (Central Sulawesi), Tuesday.
The four-star general stressed to all personnel of Madago Raya to continue pursuing the four remaining members of the terror group on the wanted list (DPO).
After the Madago Raya Task Force took firm action against the leader of MIT Poso Ali Kalora in a gun battle last Saturday (18/9) in Astina Village, Torue District, Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi.
Apart from Ali Kolora, the gun battle also killed one other person named Jaka Ramadhan.
After taking action against Ali Kalora, now there are four people left at MIT, namely Askar alias Jaid alias Pak Guru, Nae alias Galuh alias Mukhlas, Ahmad Gazali alias Ahmad Panjang, and Suhardin alias Hasan Pranata.
"Maintain this good performance, carry out law enforcement professionally and proportionally to the remaining targets," said Sigit.
The former Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police reminded that in the future the TNI and Polri must continue to strengthen and increase synergy and solidity to provide security and tranquility for the community.
Sigit also emphasized that the state must not lose to intolerant groups and terrorism, there is no place for groups that try to divide the unity and integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia in the archipelago.
"I will always be committed to giving "rewards" to personnel who are highly dedicated in carrying out their duties in maintaining security and order from all forms of interference from the MIT group," said Sigit.
