No Doubt, Ramos Deserves To Be In A Madrid Uniform Until The End Of His Career
JAKARTA - Sergio Ramos has reiterated his desire to stay at Real Madrid beyond the end of his current contract.
The contract for the defender and captain of Real Madrid expires at the end of next season. But it seems that Ramos' desire to extend his stay with Los Blancos will be mutually beneficial for both parties.
Florentino Perez expressed his willingness to keep Ramos for the rest of his playing career, and the defender supports that comment.
"I want to end my career here (in Madrid)," said Ramos after the win over Villarreal as reported by MARCA, Friday, July 17.
"I don't think there is a problem (with the contract). I will be here as long as the president wants me."
Ramos also praised his coach, Zinedine Zidane, and his teammates after winning the La Liga title by beating Villareal 2-1.
"It's a gift from our hard work, persistence and balance," said the center-back.
"We deserve a lot of credit for what we've done, regardless of what some say."

"Zidane is key. We believe in him and his job. Every time he comes, everything he touches turns to gold.
"He's unique," concluded Ramos.
Previously, President Florentino Perez calmed his worries over the situation of Sergio Ramos' contract, which until now has not heard anything.
"Ramos will be here all his life," said Florentino after the win against Villarreal.
"The fans can relax. He's impressive as a leader. His team is close and a lot depends on him."
