The Effect Of Twitter Hacking Makes Bitcoin Price Red
JAKARTA - The hacking that was experienced by a number of Twitter accounts belonging to important people shocked the virtual world. Hacked accounts were also created to spam Bitcoin in its tweets.
Not only shocked the Twitter universe, the hacker attack also caused the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to drop instantly. Even the Bitcoin (BTC) exchange rate was still monitored at its lowest level in the last 24 hours.
"The attack may have damaged the public perception of bitcoin, but the fact that the market is not reacting is a positive sign," said Rich Rosenblum, co-founder of trading company GSR, as quoted by Coindesk, Friday, July 17.
According to him, this incident is an opportunity for investors who buy Bitcoin at the lowest level around 9 US dollars per coin. On the other hand, some investors consider Twitter hacking to be a negative form of bitcoin mining.
Even so, the Bitcoin price remained stagnant and corrected minus (-) 0.16 percent in the last trade. "I don't see anything about this hack changing the value proposition of bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency."
The market conditions that were opened flushed, also had an impact on other cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum (ETH). This morning the ETH price was corrected minus (-) 2.17 percent or at the level of 234 US dollars per coin.
The same is true of almost all cryptocurrencies, both Litecoin (LTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and several other digital currencies. Marketplace opened flushing between minus (-) 1.60 to -3.21 percent.
