According to witness, friend of the victim, Adi, said that the tiger beast immediately bit the victim's neck in the back which resulted in the victim's neck being broken and blisters from the bite and scratch marks of the tiger and the victim was carried by the king of the jungle a few meters from the hut.
Two hours after that, witness Adi called residents to help find the victim and at 23:45 WIB, the victim's colleagues managed to retrieve the victim's body from the tiger's grip and found the victim already dead with a broken neck as a result of a tiger bite.
The victim was then immediately taken back to his home in Guguk Village, Renah Pembarap District. The victim and his partner Adi worked at the scene as gold miners in the customary forest.
