Affirming That He Has No Business In Papua, Coordinating Minister Luhut Is Ready To Open Up
JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan stated that he does not have any business in Papua.
The statement answered the challenge of Haris Azhar's attorney, Nurkholis Hidayat, who had stated that he had data on Luhut's involvement in business in Papua.
"I don't have any business in Papua at all. Nothing at all, what else is that called mining," said Luhut at Polda Metro Jaya, Monday, September 27.
Even Luhut challenged the reported party to be open about the data. Because, he believes that he doesn't have a business as he is accused of.
"Please, just open it up in the media from now on," said Luhut.
On the other hand, Luhut emphasized that all his businesses and assets had been recorded neatly. Thus, it is certain that the statement from the reported party or its legal representative is slander.
"I have assets in the KPK, the LHKPN assets report," said Luhut.
Luhut reported Haris Azhar and Fatia Maulidianti to the Polda Metro Jaya. The report relates to allegations of defamation.
This report relates to Haris Azhar and Fatia's statements on YouTube content. Where, the video content is entitled 'There is Lord Luhut Behind Intan Jaya's Economic Relations-Military Ops, BIN General Also Exists'.
In addition, Luhut's reason for reporting was because there was no good faith from Haris Azhar and Fatia. In fact, they have been summoned twice.
The report has been registered with the number STTLP/B/4702/IX/2021/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA, 22 September 2021. In the report, the reported parties are suspected of violating Article 45 in conjunction with Article 27 of the ITE Law.
Not only criminal, Luhut will also sue Haris Azhar and Fatia Maulidianti in a civil manner.
