New Arowana Tukul Can Communicate Through Eyes
JAKARTA - Tukul Arowana received a lot of support from prayers and visits from friends who wanted to visit him. Even though he has passed the critical period after surgery, Tukul has not been able to be visited except by his family. Ega Prayudi, the son of Tukul Arwana, spoke about his adoptive father's condition.
"Father's progress today after yesterday's surgery has started to stabilize. Although he is not 100 percent aware, but there is positive progress. Starting to respond to hand and foot movements. Currently he needs rest and intensive care," said Ega, Friday night, September 25.
Compared to Tukul Arowana's condition when he came to the hospital, Ega admitted that his progress was significant. "The doctor said compared to when he came, it was much different," he said.
After the operation, Tukul Arowana's condition gradually improved. Even after the surgery, Tukul Arowana was conscious. "After the operation on the 22nd, the 23rd was conscious," added Rizki Kimon, manager of Tukul Arwana.
Even though he has responded, Tukul Arowana's consciousness has not recovered 100 percent. After undergoing Tukul Arowana surgery, he can communicate using his eyes.
"The name of the postoperative person must be that the communication is only eye-to-eye. That's it. The rest there is a little movement," he said.
"You can't talk yet, only eye contact, only your body can move," continued Rizki Kimon.
The good news is that Tukul Arowana is no longer on a ventilator. "The ventilator in his mouth has come off. Even after surgery, in the morning, he was removed from the ventilator. The doctor's mechanism has improved because he doesn't need a rescue breather," said manager Tukul Arwana.
