COVID-19 Update As Of September 25: 2,137 New Cases, 3,746 Cured
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. The cumulative total cases are 4,206,253 people, while the new cases per day reached 2,137 people.
Meanwhile, the number of recovered cases today increased by 3,746 people, bringing the total to 4,020,801 recovered. Meanwhile, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 123 people and a total of 141,381 people.
There is also the province with the most new cases in Central Java with 309 new cases and a total of 480,997. Followed by East Java with 215 new cases and a total of 362,575 cases. Then, West Java with 188 new cases and a total of 701,911 cases.
Then, DKI Jakarta with 133 new cases and a total of 857,064 cases. Furthermore, Bali with the addition of 105 new cases and a total of 112,164 cases.
It was also reported that five provinces reported adding new cases under 10, namely Southeast Sulawesi with 9 cases, West Sulawesi and West Papua with 8 cases each, North Maluku 5 cases, and Maluku 3 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to Aceh with an increase of 494 cases. Then, followed by East Java with 368 cases recovered, DI Yogyakarta with 249 cases, North Sumatra with 247 cases, and DKI Jakarta with 199 cases.
"The highest death cases were in East Java with 17 people. Followed by Central Java with 12 people. Then in Papua with 10 people and Bali with 9 people," according to data from the Ministry of Health, Saturday, September 25.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined per day is 257,803. Meanwhile, cumulatively it reached 37,859,340. As for the details, 24,999,126 were examined by RT-PCR, 235,494 by the TMC method and 12,624,720 people were tested for antigen.
"For the number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, it is recorded at 375,061 people," he said.
Then, the weekly positivity rate for people from 19 to 25 September 2021 is 1.51 percent. While the daily positivity rate is 1.18 percent.
Currently, 569,619 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and the total has reached 85,433,518, and 287,964 people have received the second dose of vaccination, the cumulative total is 47,996,105.
While the third dose of vaccination was 6,686 and the total was 897,141. There is also a target for vaccination to reach 208,265,720 people.
