Police Asked To Be Proportionate In Handling Cases Of Alleged Persecution Of M Kece By Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte

JAKARTA - The Student Guard Cares for Justice supports the efforts of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) to enforce the law in the case of the persecution of Muhammad Kosman alias Muhammad Kece.

"We support the professionalism of the National Police in handling the case of M Kece's persecution which was allegedly carried out by Inspector General of Police Napoleon Bonaparte," said the Coordinator of the Student Guard for Justice, Fahri Salim, quoting Antara, Saturday, September 25.

The student guard also voiced a number of aspirations, including asking the authorized investigator to immediately investigate the abuse.

Then, he asked the Police to take action against Napoleon if he was found guilty, which he considered could damage the image of the Police in the eyes of the public. Furthermore, to support the National Police institution by upholding the rule of law, the principle of equality before the law against such acts of persecution.

Kece reported his alleged abuse to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police, with Inspector General of Police Napoleon Bonaparte (NB) as the reported person.

Fahri emphasized that the National Police is one of the legal instruments tasked with maintaining public order, maintaining security, and protecting the community.

"The police are at the forefront of the law enforcement process in Indonesia, before prosecutors and judges," said Fahri.
