KPK Forced Picked Up After Reasoning Isoman, Azis Syamsuddin Turns Out To Be Non-reactive To COVID-19
JAKARTA - The KPK has confirmed that the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Azis Syamsuddin, is non-responsive to COVID-19. This result was known after the medical team checked Azis Syamsuddin's condition when he was forced to pick him up.
"From the results of the examination, it was later found that COVID was non-reactive. Of course, this will be examined by the KPK team along with the medical team, then they will be brought to the KPK," said Acting Spokesperson for KPK Enforcement, Ali Fikri, in an interview with Kompas TV, which was authorized by Ali, quoted by VOI, Friday, September 24.
Previously, in a letter received by the KPK, he continued, Azis admitted that he was currently in self-isolation as recommended by the government. Azis admitted that he had interacted with people who were declared exposed to COVID-19.
This reason was later conveyed by Azis Syamsuddin to the KPK regarding him not being able to attend the KPK examination today.
“We summoned brother Azis to attend the KPK because the KPK investigators had to ask for information. The person in question who sent a letter could not attend because the information was that he was self-isolating because he admitted to interacting with other parties who were positive for COVID-19. Of course, we analyze the reasons like this, so the team from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will meet the person concerned, of course, not only the KPK team but the medical team to make sure the person concerned is positive or reactive for COVID, "said Ali Fikri.
