Police Search Laptop And Cellphone Data Of Civil Servants Who Supply Weapons To KKB

JAKARTA - Police will investigate laptops and cellphones belonging to Civil Servants (PNS) ES who are suspected of supplying weapons and ammunition to the Papuan Armed Criminal Group (KKB). This deepening is to trace communications and transactions.

"Investigators will unload the contents of the laptop and cellphone. From there it will be seen who he is communicating with, with whom he is making transactions," said Head of Public Relations of the Papuan Police Kombes Ahmad Kamal when contacted, Friday, September 24.

Apart from exploring communications and transactions, said Kamal, the examination of cellphones and laptops was carried out because ES was not cooperative in providing information.

This means that the information submitted to investigators is always changing. Moreover, it has always avoided supplying firearms to the KKB.

From the arrest and search, a number of firearms (senpi) were found. Some of them were 26 rounds of 5.6 5TJ ammunition, 8 rounds of 38 SPC ammunition, one M-16 magazine, one pair of KNPB striped clothes, various traditional sharp weapons and communication tools.
